Dakota and I jumped into the car on Sunday and headed out to the NY botanic gardens to see their fantastic train show. I figured the Christmas rush had passed, and the show ends on the 11th.
We got to the gardens around 2pm and was told that the show was sold out for the day! Darn. (We did grab tickets for this Friday.)
I did have my camera in hand, and sometimes a bit of an inconvience is a good thing. It turns out the the gardens is exhibiting Henry Moore's sculptures across their grounds. Time Magazine has named this as one of the top 10 Museum Exhibits of 2008. (So whate a great way to start 2009). The Exhibition has been extended through March 15th.
